What tree is this ( Northern Florida / Southern Georgia )?

Platanus occidentalis American Sycamore
I cant find it in my books though it looks like some sort of maple. If you dont get an answer here try taking a sample to a local nursery. They are usually good at identifying common local trees.
American Sycamore it is.
