Bedroom colour scheme question?

My carpet will be a light beige, the bedframe and headboard will be oak, I want the walls to be light, very pale, beachy blue. I would like my bed sheets and duvet to be white, not cream, and I would like to accent with orange and purple. Do you think these colours will all work together? I was not sure about the purple but i really want a dark, plum-y coloured painting... So any purple would be dark (almost like plum), and the orange would be relatively bright.

Please tell me what you think and if I need to change any of my plans, Thanks!!
A few things to consider.

White on beige will make the beige look dirty. I suggest you go with a bone for the bedding. Once you start mixing other colors with the beige and white it will transform the look. Beige and white work fine alone but not adding the other colors.

Blue plum and orange are complimentary. You want to choose a cool blue that has some purple tones to it. http://img.hgtv.com/HGTV/2005/07/12/july note the painting in this image. Also see how the beige in the hall and on the chair in the living room throw the scheme off.

This room does not have the orange but is working on the blues creams and purple http://thelennoxx.files.wordpress.com/20

This is the pallet you would be working with http://www.fromtherightbank.com/wp/wp-co
I think it sounds too colorful. Decide on three colors; not more.I don
